I²R Consulting has been in business since the 1st July 2006, started by member Pieter M Rossouw.

PM Rossouw is formerly from Power Measurement Consulting (PMC) which he established in November 2000 after he left ESKOM TSI (Technology Services International).

PM Rossouw fulfilled his role as a Senior Officer in the Power Quality Technology Division of Eskom TSI. The group served as a high level consultancy and investigations leg to Eskom and the Industry on Quality of Supply related issues. Since November 2000, PMC offered Power Quality Measurement services to industry. The company developed a sound client base and reputation within the industry, with more than 600 small to medium size investigations undertaken. The core business has been Power Measurements from High Voltage down to Low Voltage industrial electrical networks as required by clients to improve efficiency, quality and delivery of sensitive plant processes.

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, I²R Consulting provides general and specialized electrical and support services to various clients. I²R Consulting has done extensive work in providing high quality products and services at competitive rates to the Industry. The company has alliances with a number of specialists in electrical engineering to find complete solutions that meet its clients needs.

I²R Consulting has positioned itself as a leader in technical investigations and have become the solution provider of choice for a number of consultants, and industrial and commercial customers throughout South Africa as well as certain parts of the African Continent.

With our commitment to ensuring we have the latest technologies on hand, and keeping abreast with new developments in the industry, we are able to offer a wide range of added services to any project.  For example, our design services are coupled with initial load studies which provide invaluable information into the need for additional electricity supply. On project completion, we would once again carry out load measurements to determine consumption and usage patterns, which play a major role in managing energy usage.
